The Black River Yacht Club would like to invite you to become
a member of the Friendliest Yacht Club on the Black River.
The purpose of our club is best described by Our Charter.

ü To promote and encourage Safe boating

ü To Create and Maintain a Good Neighbor Policy with the Residents, Fellow Boaters, Members, the Marina, Family and Guests

ü To organize and plan social events with our Membership (Friends)

ü To Maintain a welcoming environment for all

ü Be part of the community through charitable activities

ü To promote and encourage personal involvement in the club

ü To incorporate past history with our future

ü To participate as a member with The Inter-Lake Yachting Association

(I-LYA)

Anyone who is 21 years of age or older is welcome to apply for membership. Not all members of Black River Yacht Club own a boat. Many members join the club for the social aspect and the ability to participate in our functions. The Black River Yacht Club welcomes all who would be members regardless of sex, race, or religious affiliations.

Membership are available as Family, Single or Social Members. Family & Single members have full rights to all privileges afforded by the club and are considered Full Voting members. Under a family membership, both partners have their own membership number and respective vote on club issues. Social members are on an individual basis only and do not have voting rights in the club.

To apply for membership you must complete an application form. This form can be obtained by clicking on the Membership Application Form button below. The membership form will be in an Adobe format. Once the form appears on your screen, simply print it, and fill it out.

You can submit your application with your payment to any active member of the Black River Yacht Club or Mail it to P.O. Box 306 Lorain, Ohio 44052. You can also fax your application to (440) 324-3457. (please note that if you fax your application, you must make payment before membership can be accepted)

Once Your application is received by BRYC, it will be reviewed by the Bridge. When the Bridge has made a determination on your membership status, you will be notified by the Commodore. If for any reason, your membership is not accepted by the Bridge, your payment will be refunded to you.
